Four-star wide receiver Gabriel Douglas has been committed to Texas Tech since October 2016, but the Denton Ryan star won't be signing with the Red Raiders.
Denton Ryan recruiting coordinator/offensive coordinator Conroy Hines said in an email Tuesday that Douglas will be attending a junior college.
Douglas (6-2, 185) is one of the top unsigned recruits in the Dallas area going into Wednesday, the first day of the regular national signing period for football. He is ranked as the 50th-best wide receiver in the nation in the Class of 2018 by 247Sports.com.
Douglas had 90 catches for 1,366 yards and 26 touchdowns as a senior, helping Denton Ryan go 14-1 and reach the Class 5A Division I state semifinals.
