DALLAS — Kliff Kingsbury is confident.
Maybe even a little comfortable.
“I think we are a lot closer this year. I don’t know hat that will mean statistically,” The Texas Tech coach said during Big 12 media days at the Omni Hotel. “Seeing the growth, particularly on the defensive line with those two transfers (Kolin Hill and Ondre Pipkins).
“If we can slow down the run a little bit up front, we should be in better shape.”
But, with the loss of Dakota Allen, who was dismissed from the team in early summer due to an arrest, Tech is still looking for a few playmakers at linebacker.
