The first few weeks of the season were essentially the Erik Ezukanma show. Kaylon Geiger was new to the team after signing at the end of May after leaving Troy. He found his groove in week 3 and continued to be a key performer on the outside for Texas Tech this past week as he had seven receptions for 82 yards including an amazing catch for 42 yards on the final drive of the game to help setup the game winning field goal.
Geiger has established himself as a solid piece of this offense alongside Ezukanma which should help open up more opportunities in the run game as well as for Ezukanma who has been double teamed frequently.
