MINNEAPOLIS -- Sophomore All-American Jarrett Culver grew up in Lubbock, so he's seen the ups and downs of Tech basketball.
He's also witnessed the change in his two years at Tech.
"When coach [Chris] Beard came and changed the culture, I mean it's been a lot he's done for this school," Culver said, "and now I do feel like this is a basketball school."
Preparing for Tech: Junior guard Cassius Winston, who leads Michigan State in points and assists, has spent the week preparing for Texas Tech's top-ranked defense.
He's impressed by what he sees and how Tech tries to break down opposing offenses.
