This week marks the final home game for 25 Texas Tech seniors. While these players have not had the overall success they envisioned when they arrived on campus, they should be respected for enduring one of the most turbulent periods in the history of Red Raider football.
The dedication to the program and hard work these young men have put forth are to be commended. So this week Wreck ‘Em Red will honor some of the most accomplished seniors prior to their final game at Jones Stadium.
Today we honor inside receiver Jakeem Grant.
The native of Mesquite, TX has been a fan favorite since he stepped onto the field for Texas Tech because of his diminutive stature (5-foot-7) and his electric moves with the ball in his hands as he proved with this 90-yard catch and run against Oklahoma State.
