The Madison Square Garden turned out to be bitter for the Red Raiders, as they lost to Seton Hall in the Under Armour Reunion.
Texas Tech, ranked at No. 22 before the game, closed the first half with a 3-point lead, but couldn’t handle the comeback of the Pirates, as they surged with a 50-37 second-half run.
The sector that made the difference was 3-point shooting, with the Red Raiders only hitting 33% and their opponents finishing the game with an astonishing 11/20 (55%).
Next game is set for next Tuesday, when Texas Tech will face Nevada, in Lubbock, at 7 pm.
