Texas Tech was looking for answers entering the first Big 12 game of the season, playing against a higher-ranked Baylor team that was expected to be a tough challenge for Keenan Evans and company.
In fact, this never happened, as the Red Raiders never trailed during the game, had a 12-0 run late in the first half that led to a 40-19 score at the halftime, and sailed to the victory with a solid second part of the game.
Evans led the team in points, with 18, while three other players, Naim Stevenson, Jarrett Culver, and Zhaire Smith, had double-digit performances.
