The N0. 9 weak-side defensive end in 247 Sports’ rankings, Jackson had also received offers from Baylor, UCLA, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, TCU and Texas Tech. He’s a bit small for his position at 6’3″, 226 pounds, but will have time to either put on some weight before he heads to College Station or learn a new position better suited to his size, if not both.
