WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL, TEXAS TECH VS. SANTA CLARA
4 P.M. SATURDAY, SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA
Returning home
It is about an hour drive away.
But for Texas Tech guards Ivonne CookTaylor and Rayven Brooks it will be like going home for the holidays — just a little bit early.
CookTaylor is a native of San Francisco, whole Brooks is from Oakland.
Both will have friends and family present as the Lady Raiders take on Santa Clara on Saturday at 4 p.m.
“I am so excited,” Brooks said. “I can’t wait to play in front of people I know and be home and have my family get to see me play.
