Texas Tech took a big step toward replenishing a pair of key losses in its receiving corps.
Former Nevada wide receiver McLane Mannix announced he would sign with Texas Tech on Wednesday, the start of the early signing period.

Mannix had 50 receptions for 875 yards and seven touchdowns, making him a primary target to fill the voids left by Antoine Wesley and Ja'Deion High's departures.
