Donte Coleman, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound 2016 tight end prospect, has decommitted from Texas Tech Football. Coleman is one of three tight end prospects holding a Texas Tech offer, with the other two being Kaden Smith and J.C. Chalk — both of whom are currently committed to other schools. Coleman did not give a specific reason for his decommitment when he took to Twitter to announce it Sunday.
“First off I want to thank Texas Tech fans and coaches for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play there and go to school” Coleman said. ” But I’m officially opening my recruiting back up…”
Here’s Coleman’s Tweet:
Officially opening my recruiting back up.
