Davis continued his torrid play and Texas Tech won its ninth game in a row, defeating San Diego State 7 -2 on Sunday at Rip Griffin Park
Davis has driven in a run in eight of the Red Raiders’ (29-9) last nine games (all wins) and upped his season total to 31 in the process.
The Lubbock High graduate was 2 for 3 at the plate with two runs run and two RBIs in the win. In the nine game stretch he has hit (18 of 36) and has scored 10 runs and driven in 17 runs.
