BREAKING: Josh Jung selected eighth overall in the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers

Junior third-baseman Josh Jung has had quite the season. Compiling two straight seasons batting over .330, slugging over .600 and an OPS over 1.000 in each, Jung has made himself a force to be reckoned with, earning preseason all-American honors as well as winning the 2019 co-Big 12 player of the year. Scouts from the majors quickly took notice and it didn’t take long before Jung heard his name called in the MLB draft.
