One day after Red Raider football legend E.J. Holub passes away, a member of the Texas Tech Basketball Ring of Honor passes as well. This one so unexpected. Andre Emmett, perhaps the poster child of Bob Knight’s time in Lubbock, passed away.

It is being reported that Emmett was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, early this morning. It is not clear at this time what exactly happened, but we do know that Emmett is a casualty and it is being treated as a homicide.
