Brandon Jones is coming home as the former Red Raider has been hired as Texas Tech’s offensive line coach Tuesday after spending two years at the University of California.
Jones has 10 years of experience coaching the offensive line that began as an offensive assistant at Texas Tech from 2007-08.
Jones later went on to full-time positions at Sam Houston State (2009), East Carolina (2010-14) and Cal (2015-16).
During that time, Jones, a native of Dallas, has been a member of coaching staffs that have advanced to a bowl game seven times over his career, five of which have come in the past six seasons.
