The Kansas Jayhawks didn’t play a conference opponent. They don’t have a conference win. But right now, after dismantling the Fresno State Bulldogs in Lawrence, Kansas, it looks like they’re going to be in a pretty decent spot in the very early conference standings.
I mean, when you sort things by conference wins and such, it’s hard to actually say that Kansas is better than Kansas State. And it gets even harder to make that sort of argument when you factor in how small of a sample size we have right now.
That doesn’t mean Kansas fans won’t gloat a little (as they should, college football rivalries are the perfect place for some shenanigans).
