Arkansas coach Bret Bielema took his own shots at Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury on Monday, two days after Kingsbury’s post-game remarks after a win over Arkansas drew national attention.
After the Red Raiders’ 35-24 victory Saturday in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kingsbury said Bielema “just got his (butt) kicked twice in a row and probably next week by A&M as well, so that did feel good.”
“It’s a perfect storm,” Bielema said Monday during his weekly press conference. “I realize we haven’t won in two weeks. It’s an opportunity to jump on and have some with it. If that was an (butt) kicking, I’d love to see what last year was, but obviously it’s all about what you’ve done for me lately.
