After the firework performance against San Diego State, Texas Tech falls to the New Mexico Lobos in a tightly contested match with only one goal. When I say tightly contested I should be saying overtly physical; the Red Raiders and the Lobos combined for an outrageous thirteen fouls in the first half alone. In matches that become wildly physical you can almost expect goals conceded in those games to come from well placed free kicks and, worse, penalties.
