As we're closing in on another college football season, we have some bold predictions for each of our local teams. Here are five bold predictions for Texas Tech next season.
1. Dakota Allen will be a top-three tackler in the Big 12
Last season, Texas Tech linebacker Dakota Allen led the Red Raiders with 102 tackles and ranked seventh in the Big 12. However, four of the six players ahead of Allen either just finished their senior season or are have been drafted into the NFL. The only two returning players who had more tackles than Allen were Kansas’ Joe Dineen (137) and Iowa State’s Marcel Spears Jr.
