Here are three takeaways from Texas Tech's victory.
Evans struggles
Texas Tech guard and leading scorer Keenan Evans struggled for the first time this season. Evans did not score and missed all eight of his shots. He did record seven assists and five rebounds, but it was a rough overall night for Evans. But the Red Raiders clearly were not affected by Evans' struggles, as the team itself scored 103 points off 53.7 percent shooting from the field.
Balanced scoring
Even without Evans playing well, Texas Tech had four players in double figures.
