LAWRENCE, KS - No. 11 Kansas (17-5, 6-3 Big 12) is back in the win column after suffering a pair of back-to-back losses on the road. The Jayhawks bested No. 16 Texas Tech (17-5, 5-4) 79-63 Saturday afternoon in Big 12 conference play at Allen Fieldhouse.

1. Kansas starts off hot offensively, aggressively on defense
The Jayhawks jumped out early as Dedric Lawson came away with consecutive scores to put his team up 4-0 with 18:25 left in the first half. Red Raider sophomore Jarrett Culver ended the four-point run with a basket of his own to cut Tech's deficit to 4-2, but Kansas was quick to respond.
