A week to the day after Kliff Kingsbury coached his final game at Texas Tech, the university hosted a press conference to introduce its new head coach Matt Wells on Saturday.
Wells just wrapped up the regular season at Utah State, leading it to a 10-2 record and its fourth season of bowl eligibility. He has a 44-34 overall record in six seasons as head coach.
