1. High school days
Before Alan Bowman became a household name across the nation for his quick rise to stardom at Texas Tech, he was lighting up opposing defenses at Grapevine High School.
In his four-year high school career, Bowman threw for 11,393 yards and 119 touchdowns, including 3,570 passing yards and 38 touchdowns in his senior season.
He joined Texas Tech as a three-star quarterback and was ranked as the 37th best recruit in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports.
