SAN MARCOS, Texas – The first career brace by and a defensive performance that limited Coastal Carolina (3-8-1, 0-4-1 SBC) to just four shots helped Texas State (7-4-2, 2-1-2 SBC) claim a 4-0 win Thursday night at the Bobcat Soccer Complex.
The win snapped a three-match winless streak for the Bobcats. It was also the team's fifth shutout of the season, matching the total from last year.
