SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis team returns to action this Saturday and Sunday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex following a 19-day break. Texas State hosts I-35 rival UTSA beginning at 11 a.m. on Mar. 9 and hosts Missouri State at 11 a.m. on Mar. 10.
Texas State will be playing its first match since shutting out Stephen F. Austin 7-0 on Feb. 17 at the Bobcat Tennis Complex. The Bobcats enter Saturday's match with a 3-4 overall record after posting their first home victory over the Lady Jacks.
UTSA enters the contest with a 6-8 mark following two straight losses at New Mexico State on Feb 24 and at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Feb.
