SAN MARCOS, Texas – SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis team captured the doubles point and three singles victories to win its Sun Belt Conference home opener 4-0 against Louisiana Saturday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex. With the victory, the Bobcats improve to 5-7 overall and 1-2 in Sun Belt matches, while the Ragin' Cajuns drop to 6-8 and 1-2 in conference play.
Texas State took an early lead in the match when it captured the doubles point for the sixth time this season.
Ana Perez and Julia Navajo-Melendez secured a 6-2 decision over Dana Radovanovic and Clara Mantaux in the top-seeded match.
