SAN MARCOS, Texas- For the second-straight season, the Texas State women's tennis team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic team after compiling a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above in the 2020-21 season.
In addition, four Bobcat student-athletes garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second-straight year. The student-athletes were 2021 Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year and First-Team All-Sun Belt selection Hana Kvapilova, senior Sofia Murcia-Rodriguez, graduate transfer Nikita Pradeep, and Renata Gonzalez.
This is the second straight year that Kvapilova, Murcia-Rodriguez, and Gonzalez have been named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
