SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's basketball team finished this home stand with a 2-2 record after suffering a setback Saturday afternoon to UL Lafayette by a score of 59-47. Senior guard Raven Burns led the Bobcats with a team-high 14 points as the 'Cats fall to 12-13 overall and 7-8 in Sun Belt Conference play.
How It Happened:
The two squads exchanged baskets throughout the first couple of minutes of the first quarter before UL Lafayette put together an 8-0 run to take a 15-8 lead over Texas State with 4:26 to play.
