DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Texas State is in first after the opening round of the Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship, and Marine Griffaut is tied for first at the LPGA International course. Texas State was the only team to finish the day under par.
Texas State finished one-under 287, their fourth lowest opening round total of the season. The Bobcats enter the second round with a six-stroke lead ahead of ULM and Georgia Southern tied for second.
Marine Griffaut is tied for first after recording her fifth round in the 60's and tied her season low 18-hole total after finishing four-under 68.
