SAN MARCOS, Texas -- The Texas State University women's basketball team, under the direction of sixth-year head coach Zenarae Antoine, held its first practice of the 2016-17 season Monday afternoon. The team spent the bulk of the energetic two-hour practice working on defensive -- both sets and transition -- in preparation for the upcoming season. The session was the first of 30 in a 40-day span leading to the opening game of the season at SMU.
"I love the energy from our team. They have worked really hard since last season ended." Said Antoine.
