SAN MARCOS, Texas – Despite another double-digit outing from sophomore Saniya Burks, Texas State women's basketball dropped its game against Tarleton State by a 56-45 scoreline on Tuesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Bobcats responded well to Tarleton State's 7-0 run to start the game, bringing the game within one score by the end of the first quarter. The Bobcats shot 5-16 for 11 points to keep the game close. Burks led with four points in the first quarter while Deja Jones brought down three rebounds.
