SAN MARCOS, Texas – Alyssa Wilson and the men's 4x100 relay team are set to represent Texas State at this week's 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
The four-day meet will crown individual and team national champions on both the men's and women's side.
Wilson will compete in three different events – hammer throw, discus and shot put – as she is the only women's thrower from the West Region to be doing that this season. It is the third time in her career that the UCLA transfer has qualified for three events at the NCAA outdoor championships but first since 2019.
