SAN ANTONIO – Freshman Evan White placed fourth at the Brooks Invitational at The Republic Golf Course in a non-team event for the Texas State men's golf program. His finish is the highest by a Bobcat so far this season.
White fired a 2-over par 215 (75-68-72) at the event. On the opening round on the par 71 course, he recorded 15 pars. The Lindale, Texas native followed with a career-low 68 (-3) his second time around. White posted four birdies in the second round with back-to-back below par scores on holes 15 and 16.
