SAN MARCOS, Texas – Ja'Mia Harris, a transfer from Kansas State, will be joining Texas State women's basketball ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Harris joins the Bobcats after two seasons with the Wildcats, but only having competed one season after a season-ending injury her freshman season. Harris is a Texas native out of Lancaster, having played as Desoto High School for her prep career. Coming to Texas State is a homecoming for the guard.
"Ja'Mia automatically brings a winning mentality," said Head Coach Zenarae Antoine. "Her resume from high school, college and academics are all noteworthy.
