SAN MARCOS, Texas – Freshman Lincoln Warren of the Texas State track and field team heads off to Clovis, California this weekend to compete in the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships that are being held at Veteran's Memorial Stadium on the campus of Buchanan High School. He will run in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes for an opportunity to represent the United States at the IAAF Junior World Championships this July in Poland.
"We are very proud of Lincoln. He's made outstanding improvements from his senior year of high school to now and has competed extremely well as a true freshman," said Jody Stewart, Director of Track & Field/Cross Country.
