EDINBURG, Texas — Texas State volleyball completed its first sweep of an opponent this season, with a 3-0 win over Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in Friday afternoons match.
Highlighting the match was a career-best 13 kills from middle blocker Jade Defraeye. She led the Bobcats in both kills and blocks tonight. That, and a standout performance from freshman outside hitter Britton Finley helped the Bobcats to sweep TAMUCC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the first set, Texas State took a lead after the 2-2 point and didn't relinquish the lead for the rest of the set.
