MOBILE, Alabama – Texas State softball won 13-3 in record-setting fashion. Sara Vanderford hit her 165th and 166th career RBI to open the scoring, breaking the Texas State all-time career RBI record.
Vanderford had two home runs, three hits and seven RBI in the game, leading the team to the 13-3 win.
Ciara Trahan and JJ Smith also had multi-hit games that helped the Bobcats to the win.
The Bobcats are now 29-7 on the season and 7-1 in conference play with series wins in all three of its conference series so far this season.
