UPDATE: Texas State adds three more verbal commitments during busy June

June has been a great month for Texas State on the recruiting trail.

The Bobcats’ hot streak continued on Wednesday when Cuero defensive end/ tight end Caeveon Patton, Seguin-Arlington offensive tackle Brian Parish and Arlington High School tight end Nic Foster all verbally committed to the program.

Patton, Parish and Foster are Texas State’s fifth, sixth and seventh commits for this month alone (Aledo tight end Logan Peterson, Corsicana quarterback Kishawn Kelley, Manvel linebacker London Harris and Georgetown wide receiver Beau Corrales were the others). The Bobcats now have 11 verbal commits for the 2017 class.

Patton attended last Friday’s skill camp at Bobcat Stadium along with Preston Dimery, a Kerrville-Tivy safety who committed to the Texas State on May 23.
