SAN MARCOS, Texas – Through its "UFCU Score for Scholarships" initiative and with the help of the Bobcats on the field and court, UFCU has made a $100,000 contribution in scholarships to Texas State University students.
As part of the initiative, UFCU pledged scholarship funds for every touchdown scored in football, three-pointer in men's and women's basketball, ace served in volleyball, and home run in baseball and softball by Texas State during the 2021-22 academic year. The baseball team has already set a program record for home runs in a single season to help further the impact of UFCU's pledge.
