SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (14-15, 4-4 Sun Belt) distanced themselves from the ULM Warhawks (4-25, 1-7 Sun Belt) behind a five-run seventh inning on Saturday afternoon at the ULM Softball Complex. The Bobcats earned an 8-2 decision.

- For the second-straight game against the Warhawks, Texas State wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. The Bobcats scored two runs on three hits in the opening frame. Junior Hailey MacKay drove in the first run of the game on an RBI single through the left side of the infield.
