LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Texas State volleyball team defeated Little Rock 3-2 (25-23, 11-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-7) Saturday night in a Sun Belt Conference match inside Jack Stephens Center.
The victory for TXST spoiled Senior Day for the Trojans (16-11, 8-6) and gave the Bobcats (23-6, 14-1) sole possession of the 2018 Sun Belt Regular Season Championship.
True freshman Emily DeWalt was the fulcrum of the offense with 39 assists, while also providing 13 digs. Junior Micah Dinwiddie was catalyst of the back row, adding 12 digs and eight assists.
