San Marcos, Texas – After taking the past weekend off from meet action, Texas State track and field will split to participate in two meets this week. A select group of sprinters and throwers will travel to Gainesville, Fla. to compete at the Tom Jones Memorial, while the rest of the team will travel to the Kingsville Cactus Cup hosted in Kingsville, Texas.

The two-day meet begins tomorrow at 11 pm CT and runs into Saturday. The meet will feature some of the fastest athletes in the country and the Bobcats will be up against nationally-ranked opponents Florida, Auburn, South Florida and LSU.
