FORT WORTH, Texas – Senior Talore Kelly and junior Julie Lange recorded top five finishes on the first day of the TCU Invitational at the Lowdon Track Complex on Thursday. Lange finished fourth in the hammer throw and fifth in the discus throw and Kelly placed third in the hammer throw.
Lange posted her best toss of 52.10m (170-11) on her second attempt of the day to advance to the finals of the hammer throw. She nearly matched the distance on her second throw of the finals but was short by a hundredth of a meter.
