SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (9-11) could not come up with the clutch hit in a 4-1 loss to the Baylor Bears (11-8) on Wednesday evening at Bobcat Softball Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
- Freshman infielder Kassidy Krupit of Baylor broke the scoreless tie in the top of the third inning with a two-out, three-run home run down the right field line.
- Junior outfielder Christiana McDowell scored the lone Texas State run off a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- The Bobcats brought the winning run to the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning after drawing two walks and being hit by a pitch.
