NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference offices announced Tuesday morning that Texas State swept the conference awards this week following two wins at Troy last weekend. Samantha Wunsch won Offensive Player of the Week, Alyssa Ortega won Defensive Player of the Week and Ryann Torres was named Setter of the Week.
"What a testament to the successful weekend we had at Troy," said head coach Sean Huiet. "To be able to sweep the weekly awards is pretty awesome. We know the team's success is what helps get these individual awards, so kudos to our team for taking care of business.
