SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's and women's track and field teams travel to Akron, Ohio on Feb. 5-6 when the Bobcats compete in the 17th annual Akron Invitational at the Stile Athletics Field House.
The Bobcats will compete against Akron, Buffalo, Kent State, Miami, and Western Michigan.
The two-day meet begins at 5 p.m. on Friday with the women's high jump, pole vault, and weight throw. The running events start with the 60-meter dash as part of the men's heptathlon at 5 p.m.
The final day commences on Saturday with the women's triple jump and the women's pentathlon at noon.
