SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's and women's track and field teams continue their 2021 outdoor season in Waco, Texas, when Bobcats compete in the annual Michael Johnson Invitational on April 16-17 at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium.
The Michael Johnson Invitational begins on Friday with the men's hammer throw at noon followed by the women's hammer throw, along with the men's and women's pole vault and javelin throws.
Friday's running events include the women's and men's 1500 and 5000 meters beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday's field events include the men's and women's discus throws, long jumps, shot puts, triple jump, and high jumps beginning at 9:30 a.
