LUBBOCK, TX. — The Texas State track and field program will open its 2022 schedule on Friday, Jan. 14 after the Bobcats travel to Texas Tech to participate in the two-day Corky Classic event.
This weekend will mark the third consecutive season that Texas State has visited Lubbock for a track and field event hosted by Texas Tech. It'll also be the first track and field event for the Bobcats under first-year head coach , who was hired on August 2, 2021. During his time at the helm of track and field programs, Frazier has produced an indoor national championship, 21 conference championships and developed 57 All-Americans, five NCAA champions and four Olympians.
