NEW ORLEANS — The Sun Belt Conference recognized 174 Texas State University student-athletes for their accomplishments inside the classrooms during the 2019-20 school year.
Ninety-nine Bobcats were placed on the Commissioner's List, which honors student-athletes who maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better during the 2019-20 academic year. Additionally, 75 TXST student-athletes were acknowledged on the Academic Honor Roll list, which honors those student-athletes who maintained a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 for the academic year.
Twelve Texas State athletic programs placed at least one student-athlete on the conference's honor roll with the Bobcats' football team playing the most with 16.
