SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State volleyball suffered a 3-0 loss to Tulsa on Friday night.
WHAT HEAD COACH SEAN HUIET SAID: "Hats off to Tulsa. It's disappointing on our side of the net. Tulsa's a great team. They had a great game plan, and they stuck to it. It just was not our night."
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set one was a battle from the jump as both teams stayed within four points of each other the entire way through the set. Texas State was able to keep it close through the end, but back-to-back kills by Olivia Vance helped Tulsa edge out the set one win 25-23.
